Tuscany is one of the most beautiful regions of Italy. Glamping Resort Orlando in Chianti is located in the middle of the Chianti region in the triangle between Florence, Siena and Arezzo. Enjoy the Tuscan landscape with its characteristic green hills, cypresses and beautiful towns and villages, of which Florence, Siena, Arezzo and San Gimignano are the best known. The Chianti region, including Greve in Chianti, Volpaia, Radda in Chianti and Panzano, is known for its wines and a visit to a winery should certainly not be missed. But also beautiful medieval castles, abbeys and churches are in the immediate vicinity of Glamping Resort Orlando in Chianti. This is a place in a natural environment where all the good things of Tuscany come together. 

Camping 

Glamping Resort Orlando in Chianti is a quietly located family camp site in the green hills of Monti del Chianti at an altitude of 700 meters between the villages of Cavriglia and Greve in Chianti. It is located in the middle of the Chianti region along the most famous wine routes in Italy. There are 2 types of tents here. The Tendi Glamping Safari Tents with their own sanitary facilities stand among the oak trees on the lower terraces with sufficient shade.

The Tendi Glamping Safari Tents Trendy with their own sanitary facilities and robust wooden frame are located at Belvedere (higher part) and on the lower part between the oak trees with sufficient shade. Of course there is a heated swimming pool with separate children's pool at the campsite, a Spotty swimming pool with a small slide and sun beds with umbrellas.

There is also a small playground and a new large playground for the children and there is an entertainment program in high season. In the mini market you can get fresh bread, small groceries and some local specialties. In the evening, you can enjoy the Tuscan cuisine on the terrace or a delicious Italian stone oven pizza.

The surrounding hills are ideal for hiking and cycling trips.

  • On Tuesday morning there is a local market in Figline Valdarno, on Tuesday afternoon in Cavriglia, on Saturday morning in Greve in Chianti, or Arezzo, on Wednesday morning in Siena and of course the daily San Lorenzo market in Florence
  • Florence, with Piazza del Duomo with the Gothic Duomo, the Gothic Basilica Santa Groce, Palazzo Vecchio, the Basilica San Lorenzo, Uffizi Gallery, Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria and Piazzale Michelangelo with views over Florence.
  • Arezzo, including Piazza Grande, Basilica di San Francesco, Duomo St. Donatius, the Gothic church San Domenico and the Romanesque church Santa Maria Delle Pieve from the 12th century. Arezzo also served as a film set for the famous film "La Vita e Bella".
  • Arezzo, a nice antique market, every 1st Sunday of the month
  • Siena, including the Duomo di Siena with statues of Michelangelo and Donatello, Palazzo Publico, San Domenico and Piazza del Campo with the fountain “Fonte Gaia” and the annual “Palio” (a horse race that takes place twice a year on this square, July 2 and August 16).
  • San Gimignano, with a unique skyline consisting of 14 remaining family towers from the 14th century. It is one of the best preserved medieval towns in Italy with, among others, Piazza della Cisterna, Palazzo del Popolo, Piazza del Duomo and shopping street Via San Giovanni.
  • Greve in Chianti, also known as the gateway to the Chianti wine region. Visit Piazza Matteotti and the many delicatessen shops with Chianti wine, extra virgin olive oil, finocchiona and Marzolino cheese. The annual wine festival takes place around 6-9 September
  • Radda in Chianti, charming walled town with a view of the Chianti vineyards
  • Castello d ’Albola, fantastically located wine castle near Radda in Chianti. A tour should certainly not be missed here
  • Zoo, Parco Zoo della Fauna Europea, in Poppi
  • You can also shop in one of the outlet stores in Levanella (D&C), Montevarchi (Prada) and Reggello (Cucci)
  • Visit one of the beautiful castles, Castello di Porciano, Castello dei Conti Guidi and Castello di Romena with the neighboring Pieve di San Pietro
  • You can play golf at Golf Club Casentino in Poppi or at Dell’Ugolino Golf in Grassina
