La Maison Bornat

Country/Region

La Maison Bornat is located in the southern part of Bourgogne. The domain is situated on a small hill with a surrounding view. The area is characterized by rolling, green hills, beautiful swimming lakes and rivers such as L’Arconce and the Loire. Bourgogne is world famous for the red and white wines that are produced there, especially from the Pinot Noir (red) and the Chardonnay (white). In and around Mâcon and Tournus you will find the many vineyards that characterize Bourgogne. It is a varied area with picturesque castles on hills, Romanesque churches and abbeys.

The area also offers plenty of options for all kinds of sporting activities.

Camping

La Maison Bornat is a former 200-year-old farmhouse in Bourgogne that has been converted into chambres d'Hôtes. There is a small campsite with new sanitary facilities next to the renovated house. The campsite is spacious, with a view all around and has 15-20 spacious pitches (200-300 m2). The Tendi Glamping Safari Tents with bathroom are located in spacious, natural places with unobstructed views. Of course there is a (heated) swimming pool and plenty of room for the little ones. A few times a week you can join us for table d’hotes under the covered terrace and of course you can order fresh bread.

Saint-Yan is 5 km from La Maison Bornat with a bakery and a small supermarket. The towns of Marcigny, Paray-le-Monial are 11 km from the mini-campsite. Here you will find all other facilities, such as a larger supermarket, banks, restaurants, gas stations, pharmacies, local shops and a tourist office.
