La Clairière

Country/Region

Camping La Clairière is located in Les Landes, 12 kilometers from the Atlantic Sea. The department of Landes is part of the Aquitaine region and is known for its many pine forests, lakes, moors and of course the Atlantic coast with wide sandy beaches. The campsite is located at Mimizan and Mimizan Plage, between Biscarrosse and Lit-et-Mixe and close to the sea. The Parc Naturel des Landes offers various possibilities for all kinds of sporting activities such as canoeing, surfing, hiking, horse riding, cycling and mountain biking. And don't forget to visit the beautiful wine routes in and around the wine region of Bordeaux.

Camping

Camping La Clairière is a small family campsite in a quiet location near St. Paul and Born, about 7 km from Mimizan and 12 km from the sea. In St. Paul and Born there is of course a bakery, a butcher, and a small supermarket. In Mimizan there are various restaurants, a large supermarket and all other facilities. The luxuriously furnished Tendi Glamping Safari Tents with private bathrooms are located on the edge of the campsite with an unobstructed view of the underlying forests . Camping La Clairière has a restaurant with bar and a cozy terrace. Of course there is a wonderful swimming pool (heated) with a separate children's pool. There is also a playground for the little ones among us. Between noon and in the evening you can enjoy the regional products and local wines in the restaurant or on the terrace. Some daily groceries can be purchased in the shop at the reception. A small river and stream run around the campsite. Furthermore, the area is ideal for making trips in the area or a day at the beach.
