Domaine de la Faurie

Country/Region

Domaine de la Faurie is located in a green, hilly area between the Lot and the Dordogne. There are enchanting medieval villages on the hillsides.

Gourdon, Rocamadour and Gramat, beautiful old towns, are in the immediate vicinity. The region is rich in historic buildings, medieval castles and prehistoric sites and caves such as Gouffre de Padirac, Grotte de Lacave and Grotte du Peche Merle.

Camping

Domaine de la Faurie is located on a hill, on a 27-hectare site of unspoilt nature and offers a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape. In Séniergues (2 km) and Montfaucon (3 km) there is of course a bakery, a butcher, a supermarket, various restaurants and other facilities.

At the center of the domain is a historic pigeon tower with characteristic buildings. Tendi has placed 2 types of glamping tents here. The Tendi Glamping Safari Tents with private bathroom and the Tendi Glamping Lodge Tents with private bathroom and floor / loft. Both types of tents stand among the trees and have a view of the valley. The Tendi Glamping Lodge Tents have 3 bedrooms and an attractive veranda with lounge set. Of course there is a wonderful heated swimming pool with a separate children's pool. There is also a playground. In the evening you can enjoy the rich gastronomy, local products, local wines and the fantastic view in the restaurant or on the terrace. Some local specialties can be purchased in the shop at the reception.

The area is ideal for making trips to the many sights and historic sites in the area.
