Chateau Le Haget

Country/Region

Château Le Haget is located in the middle of the green, hilly surroundings of the Gers. De Gers is located in the historic and former province of Gascony and the area is characterized by green hills, forests and rivers. The castle campsite is located in the south - west of France between the Pyrenees in the south and the Lot et Garonne in the north.

In the immediate vicinity are beautiful old villages, castles and bastides. Château Le Haget is located near the village of Montesquiou in the middle of Gascony, the land of d’Artagnan (a famous musketeer). In the "Tuscany of France" with its rolling green and golden hills, you will find true authentic France. At the weekly markets there are farmers with their vegetables, chickens, homemade goat cheese and famous duck and goose products such as confit and magret. Of course you will find delicious wines in the Gascony (Côtes de Gascogne, Saint-Mont and Madiran) with a very good price / quality ratio and the famous Armagnac. The area offers various options for all kinds of sporting activities, such as canoeing, hiking, cycling and mountain biking.

Camping

Château Le Haget is a nice, small campsite, located in a park-like setting about 3 km from Montesquiou. In Montesquiou you will of course find a bakery, a small grocery store, a bar / restaurants and the post office. In the castle there are, among other things, the restaurant and 10 attractively furnished rooms. Château Le Haget with adjacent campsite is located in a natural and peaceful setting on 12 hectares of land.

The campsite is located near the castle from the 19th century and has spacious, level pitches. The Tendi Safari tents are spread over the area in spacious places. Of course there is a wonderful swimming pool with a separate children's pool. There is also a playground for the children and there is plenty of room on site for playing football and volleyball. In the high season there is a fun and small-scale entertainment program. In the evening you can enjoy the Gascon regional dishes or drink in the restaurant or on the terrace.

Please note: Weddings can take place in the castle in the early and late season.
